Cal State Northridge

Serving as home to CSUN’s NCAA Division I basketball and volleyball programs, the Matador Gymnasium underwent a series of enhancements to improve both athlete and spectator experience. Linespace was brought on to design a bold new gymnasium floor and provide environmental graphics that reinforce Matador pride and energize the facility.

Linespace developed a dynamic court design that celebrates CSUN’s athletic spirit while aligning with NCAA visibility standards and the university’s evolving brand. The new playing surface featured strong geometric layouts, bold typography, and iconography that captured the confidence and grit of the Matador identity. The design was carefully considered for both broadcast visibility and in-person impact—creating an unmistakable home-court presence.

In tandem with the floor design, Linespace also developed concepts for enhancing the gymnasium’s entrance hall and concourse. These included large-format graphics, directional floor elements, a “wall of honor,” and historical storytelling components—all aimed at transforming the facility into a place of tradition, pride, and elevated fan experience.

Abalone Cove State Park

Abalone Cove, a rugged marine preserve, needed signage to help visitors safely explore trails while learning about wildlife, tidepools, and conservation practices.

Linespace created low-profile, weather-resistant signage that aligns with the raw beauty of Abalone Cove’s coastline. Trail safety signs, educational panels, and directional markers are built from natural materials that blend into the landscape while providing essential orientation. Interpretive content connects visitors with the area’s ecology and emphasizes respectful exploration of its fragile habitats.

Camino Nuevo Kayne Siart Campus

Camino Nuevo’s Kayne Siart Campus needed a clear and welcoming signage system that considered student safety, accessibility, and cultural resonance for its diverse community.

Linespace developed a bilingual signage and branding system rooted in clarity and cultural respect. Durable signage materials and simple iconography were paired with vibrant colors to make navigation intuitive for both students and families. The result is an inclusive, flexible identity system that reflects the school’s values of equity, community, and learning.

EVgo Charge Station

EVgo needed a flagship charging site between Los Angeles and Las Vegas that blended infrastructure with visibility and brand identity.

Linespace created a roadside EV charging experience with the visibility of a landmark. Oversized pylon signage, custom charger wraps, and night-lighting elements make the station visible from the highway while remaining energy-efficient. The branding reinforces EVgo’s reliability and forward-looking ethos, turning a simple pit stop into a branded infrastructure moment.

USC Verdugo Hills Hospital – History Wall

As part of broader upgrades to its patient experience and brand alignment with USC Health, Verdugo Hills Hospital partnered with Linespace to design a history wall that would convey its legacy of service to the Foothill community. The installation was intended to unify past and present—welcoming visitors while reflecting the hospital’s evolution and future with USC.

Located at a key junction between the original hospital and its new wing, the wall was designed to both anchor and activate the corridor. Linespace crafted a clean, modular layout that combines archival photos, milestones, and institutional highlights into a cohesive narrative. The system uses layered acrylic panels, dimensional USC branding, and softly backlit sections to create a sense of depth and continuity.

The visual tone is calm, contemporary, and respectful—designed to complement healthcare surroundings while inviting quiet reflection. The content was carefully curated with hospital leadership to highlight pivotal chapters in Verdugo Hills’ independent roots and its strategic alignment with USC’s health system. The result is a branded storytelling piece that connects community memory with modern medical leadership.

Fresno State Campus Interpretive Installations

Fresno State aimed to visually express its commitment to cultivation—both literal and educational—through interpretive installations across campus.

Linespace designed sculptural “sprout” installations and interpretive signs that visualize Fresno State’s mission of growth. Stainless steel elements and strategic placements across campus guide students and visitors while reinforcing themes of transformation, agriculture, and innovation. These pieces act as symbolic beacons of the university’s values, linking message and place.

USC Verdugo Hills Hospital

Following its acquisition by USC, Verdugo Hills Hospital needed a full signage overhaul that aligned with USC’s identity while ensuring clarity and comfort in a healthcare setting.

Linespace created a comprehensive signage system blending institutional branding with user-centered navigation. OSHPD-compliant exterior signs, intuitive directional cues, and color-coded zones reduce stress for patients and families while reinforcing USC’s healthcare brand. The visual language supports clarity and comfort—two essentials for modern medical environments.

Scottsdale Quarter

Scottsdale Quarter needed a wayfinding system that reduced parking confusion while maintaining the high-end retail environment’s brand integrity.

Linespace designed a layered signage strategy that elevates the parking experience into a brand moment. Color-coded levels, desert-inspired motifs, and artistic supergraphics guide drivers and pedestrians through garages and retail plazas. Each signage component is tailored to feel premium while enhancing circulation in a bustling lifestyle center.

USC Thornton School of Music Anniversary Banners

USC Thornton School of Music wanted a bold, festive visual statement to commemorate its anniversary and enhance campus presence.

Linespace designed vibrant banner graphics featuring rhythmic typography and layered compositions that echo musical cadence. Color schemes and vertical motion mirror movement and sound—creating celebratory visual energy across lamp posts, entries, and internal displays. The campaign reinforces Thornton’s legacy with visual flair that sings across campus.
