Abalone Cove State Park

Abalone Cover Shoreline Park sits on the bluff above the sea with good walking trails, beautiful ocean views, a secluded beach and some of Southern California’s most accessible tide pools. Visitors can see starfish, sea anemones, crabs and maybe even one of the shiny shells of the abalone that give the park its name. The trails within the park are a part of the California Coastal Trails.

Our team worked with the City of Rancho Palos Verdes and the local Los Serenos docents to establish the topics for each interpretive panel and the exact locations within the landscape of the park renovation. We researched the topics and provided the content along with original illustrations to convey the key points. The result is a stunning set of interpretive panels that enhance the park visitor experience.
