The El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach is a 105-acre urban oasis offering trails, lakes, and diverse wildlife. In 2017, the City of Long Beach unveiled a significant enhancement to the center’s entrance, including a new monument sign designed by Linespace. This project aimed to provide park information and create a welcoming experience for visitors.
The new entryway features a monument sign visible from Spring Street, guiding visitors into the Nature Center. The design integrates with the surrounding landscape, reflecting the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, the project included improved pathways, lighting, and an ADA-compliant pedestrian bridge, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
This redesign not only improves functionality but also fosters a deeper connection between visitors and nature, aligning with the Nature Center’s mission to educate and inspire.
