As a founding Partner, Max Beach leads the studio’s operations and guides its 3D and product design capabilities. He brings decades of experience designing and developing products that span recreational watercraft, EV charging equipment, consumer electronics, and branded hardware. His work with clients such as AeroVironment, EVgo, and BTCPower has helped shape brand-focused solutions for OEMs including Nissan, Toyota, Audi, and BMW.
At Linespace, Max continues to lead cross-disciplinary teams across product, environmental, and experiential design. His portfolio includes large-scale trade show environments for Kawasaki, award-recognized in-flight entertainment systems for Zii, and wayfinding programs for clients like USC, UCLA, Kilroy, and Omni Hotels & Resorts across Southern California. Max also heads up strategic partnerships for site furniture and lighting projects.
Max earned his BFA in Industrial Design from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. Since 2006, he has also served as an adjunct faculty member at California State University, Long Beach, where he teaches Form Study and Senior Industrial Design Studio. Max brings the same collaborative energy to the classroom that he does to client work—mentoring the next generation of designers while continuing to drive innovative, impactful projects.
