Palos Verdes Peninsula High School (PVPHS) is a 4 year comprehensive public high school, nationally recognized for academic excellence. The Palos Verdes Unified School District has over 4,200 students enrolled each year. With two primary high schools in the district, PVPHS serves nearly 2,300 students each calendar year. The PVPHS Perspective Student Magazine is an informative publication distributed to parents and students within the district who will be entering high school. These students have the opportunity to choose between the two high schools serving the district. Therefore it is very important that the Perspective Student Magazine highlight the culture, programs, and accomplishments of PVPHS. This publication was designed to “capture” the essence of being a PVPHS “Panther”. Through the use of candid photography sprinkled throughout the publication we offer an glimpse of student life on campus. Clearly defined chapters outline the programs and activities while quotes from former students give testimonials to the foundation of learning and friendships that are built along the way.
