The team explored patterning and spacing techniques that cast animated shadows and control flame behavior, creating ambiance without compromising safety. Working with an existing torch the baskets integrate reliable function with a decorative form. Materials were chosen to maintain their look over time, giving each unit a distinct character shaped by its environment. These pieces elevate outdoor gatherings while withstanding the rigors of weather and frequent use.
