Zodiac Aerospace (now Safran) engaged Linespace to design and deliver a seat-integrated entertainment display system that would highlight emerging in-flight technology for first-class passengers. The goal: create a premium customer-facing demonstration for airline decision-makers—one that blends luxury aesthetics, technical innovation, and clear market messaging.
To support Zodiac Inflight Innovations (Zii) at the 2018 AIX show in Hamburg, Linespace developed a full concept, prototype, and visual experience in just 30 days. The system was designed to excite airline customers, demonstrate Zii’s vision for future technology, and reinforce their role as leaders in evolving in-flight entertainment systems.
Linespace crafted a functional seatback display that combines luxury materials with thoughtful UX design. Display angles, bezel curvature, and interface layout were tuned for first-class passenger expectations—seamlessly integrating into bespoke seating architecture. The result was not just a static concept, but a working prototype that demonstrated clear messaging, brand positioning, and technology potential.
Beyond hardware, Linespace also provided a full suite of sales and marketing assets, including product visualizations, context renderings, airline-branded interface mockups, and physical presentation support. This coordinated design approach helped Zodiac maximize their impact at AIX, creating a clear and compelling case for future partnerships with global airline customers.
